Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 19, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Your Apps Store ("YAS," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Decoder Works, handles personal information when you use our website, create an account, save web apps, submit a developer listing, purchase a paid service, or contact support.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use YAS, we may process:
- Account information: name, email address, account type, authentication identifiers, and account settings.
- Private library information: web-app names, URLs, favorites, ordering, and optional subscription reminders that you choose to save.
- Developer information: listing names, URLs, categories, descriptions, keywords, plan selection, listing status, and other submission information.
- Payment information: transaction, subscription, billing-status, and payment-reference information received from our payment processor. We do not need to store your full payment-card number.
- Support information: your name, email address, topic, and message when you contact us.
- Technical information: information needed to operate and secure the service, which may include IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, request logs, error information, and security events.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure YAS, including to:
- Create and authenticate accounts;
- Sync a user's private app library across devices;
- Receive, review, publish, moderate, and manage developer listings;
- Process paid services and maintain subscription status;
- Send verification codes, service notices, payment notices, and support responses;
- Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized access;
- Diagnose errors and improve service reliability and usability; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Private apps and public listings
Apps a user adds privately to My Apps are not published to Discover and are not intentionally made visible to other users.
Developer listing information is private while being submitted and reviewed, except as needed for our service providers to operate YAS. When a listing is approved and activated, the listing information intended for publication becomes public and may be viewed by anyone.
5. When we share information
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:
- Service providers that help us provide hosting, database, authentication, email, payments, security, and related infrastructure.
- Professional advisers when reasonably necessary for accounting, legal, insurance, security, or compliance matters.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or the service.
- A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Cookies and local storage
YAS may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies that are necessary for sign-in, session persistence, security, saved preferences, and core product functionality. We may add analytics in the future; if that changes our privacy practices materially, this Policy will be updated and any legally required choices or consent controls will be provided.
7. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose.
Account deletion may remove or de-identify account and private-library information, subject to limited retention where required for legal, fraud-prevention, payment, security, or recordkeeping purposes.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
You can remove saved apps from your library and update certain account or developer information through YAS. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information through Support.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you additional rights, such as rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, or restrict certain uses of personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so you should also use a strong password and protect access to your account and devices.
10. Children
YAS is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact Support so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. Third-party web apps
When you open a third-party web app from YAS, you leave our service. The third party's privacy practices apply to what happens on its website. YAS does not receive your activity inside that third-party website merely because you opened it from YAS.
12. International use
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use or rely on legally recognized mechanisms for international data transfers.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted here and, when appropriate, communicated through the service or by email. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
14. Contact
Privacy questions or requests can be submitted through our Support page.
